The Strategic Sourcing Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Materials & Engineering team delivers exceptional engineering and supply chain solutions to the local roll-out teams within Construction Management. This role is essential for managing our global supplier network, optimizing supplier performance, and ensuring seamless material supply for ongoing and future construction projects.
Supplier Management:
Oversee relationships with global suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals and construction needs across all countries.
Develop and implement a strategic supplier portfolio, identifying and onboarding new suppliers as needed.
Manage supplier performance through key metrics, fostering continuous improvement.
Negotiate agreements, contracts, and pricing to ensure optimal value and terms for the organization.
Collaboration & Communication:
Partner with the Supply Chain Quality Manager, Operational Risk Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure material quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
Serve as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers, resolving issues and aligning expectations.
Collaborate with local Project Managers Construction, to ensure seamless delivery of materials.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to improve supplier management processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
Monitor market trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities within the supply chain.
