Strategic Sales Solution Architect & Advisor

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with the Account Executives and Field Presales Principals you will working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to close new deals and maximise business value with both new and existing RELEX customers.

The Strategic Sales Solution Architect & Advisor leverages their extensive retail and CPG industry knowledge (business process and industry best practices) to effectively position the RELEX solution to address the prospects needs and challenges and strategic goals. A critical component is translating the prospects’ needs to the value and ROI the underlying RELEX solution offering can enable.

You would also be responsible for helping the leadership of prospective clients to translate their strategic vision into a concrete plan with the right priorities.

 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the business value of working with RELEX,
  • Understanding the customer’s current situation and strategic goals by supporting the planning and leading of business discovery workshops
  • Build the prospects’ confidence and trust in the RELEX software and team’s ability to deliver on their strategic goals and deliver that business value,
  • Create a vision of the future partnership potential between RELEX and the customer.
  • Assist in creating Proof of Concepts and influence approach and configuration when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal functional groups including: Professional Services, Central Presales, Product Strategy, and Product Management
  • Take part in reference management - assisting in identifying best fit references with current customers
  • Interacting with clients and presenting to prospect audiences especially senior management and executive level
  • Develop and customize sales material for key decision makers
  • Potentially leadership and management tasks for the right candidate

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Broad industry expertise in retail and/or CPG
  • Detailed understanding of retail business process and application landscapes
  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • Experience building business cases and ROI models
  • Possess leadership skills and a willingness to mentor peers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to challenge customer thinking in a constructive and positive way
  • Value selling – translate the customer’s issues/pain points to the value and ROI RELEX will deliver
  • Flexible and adaptable approach – being able to communicate advanced logic to a broad audience
  • Comfort with travel across the entire APAC region
  • Ability to understand optimization solution details – experience with Inventory Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment, Pricing & Promotions, Space Optimisation and Workforce Optimisation is a plus
