Strategic Program Manager
TLDR
Lead strategic projects at Panorama Education, ensuring exceptional outcomes through cross-functional collaboration and high-stakes problem-solving.
The Strategic Program Manager (SPM) at Panorama Education is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role designed to ensure our most complex, high-value projects/clients succeed. An SPM operates as the central “hub” for the client & projects they support—understanding needs, solving problems, and leading internal alignment to deliver exceptional outcomes. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals who can thrive in ambiguity, have a strong presence, and bring unique superpowers—like strategic thinking, product knowledge, or educational landscape expertise—to Panorama’s evolving client base.
SPMs will step into roles on a rotating or time-bound basis depending on client/project need, scale, or challenge, and will work closely with other Panorama team members cross functionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Leadership: Serve as a critical part of the account team for selected strategic clients, ensuring we meet key outcomes and earning trusted-advisor status.
- High-Stakes Engagements: Step into complex, high-visibility accounts or initiatives where Panorama needs a skilled operator to stabilize, enhance, or elevate our delivery.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Identify pain points, needs, or opportunities and lead initiatives to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Client Partnerships, Account Management, Product, Engineering, etc.) to align resources and efforts to client goals.

What Makes a Great SPM
- Gravitas & Presence: You inspire confidence, speak with clarity, and can operate credibly with senior district leaders and internal executives.
- People-Centered Problem Solver: You understand client experience deeply and are energized by figuring out the systems or strategies to solve their problems.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: You thrive when given space and trust to figure things out, and can navigate shifting priorities with grace.
- Superpower Depth: You bring a particular strength—whether it’s facilitation, strategic planning, analytics, or systems thinking—that makes your teammates better.
- Execution Excellence: You “get it done,” balancing quick wins with long-term solutions.
