Job Description:
The Strategic Partnerships Lead will be responsible for developing and managing the company’s partnerships with prime contractors and global reseller partners. The role requires a commercially-minded individual who can operate hands-on across opportunity development, partner engagement, and partnership framework creation - not just relationship maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Prime Contractor Partnerships
Identify, map, and prioritize strategic prime contractors and system integrators.
Develop structured engagement plans for key partners.
Build multi-level relationships across partner organizations (commercial, technical, and leadership).
Support joint opportunity identification and pursuit activity.
Position the company as a trusted technology partner for complex programs.
Global Reseller & Channel Development
Identify, recruit, and onboard reseller and channel partners across priority regions.
Define selection criteria, commercial structures, and enablement approaches for resellers.
Build scalable capacity within the partner network through training and support.
Support partners in identifying and progressing opportunities.
Internal & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with BD, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
Support internal readiness for partner engagement, including messaging and enablement.
Feed partner market insight into product and go-to-market strategy.
Pipeline Development & Reporting
Drive and track indirect pipeline through partner channels.
Support forecasting and reporting on partner-led opportunities.
Ensure partner activity is clearly reflected in CRM and BD reporting.
Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in partnerships, strategic business development, or channel sales.
Experience working with primes, integrators, or complex partner ecosystems.
Strong commercial and negotiation background.
Track record of developing new partnerships that led to measurable commercial outcomes.
Desirable:
Experience in Defense, intelligence, energy, or complex technology sectors.
Experience in global or international partnership development.
Experience scaling early-stage partnership programs.
