What You’ll Do As a Strategic Client Development Analyst, you will serve as a center of excellence for client proposals and go-to-market materials, ensuring client-facing deliverables reflect the best of ghSMART. You will develop clear, compelling and consistent narratives in partnership with Client Managers, aligning ghSMART’s value proposition to each client’s and prospect’s priorities and context. You will partner closely with the Director of Growth and the Manager of Client Solutions & Knowledge to provide strategic leverage, feedback, and refinement to elevate proposal quality, sharpen our positioning, and enhance the overall impact of the team’s work. Responsibilities
  • Act as a critical connection point between our internal go-to-market team and our client service team leadership, ensuring successful execution of our overall growth strategy.
  • Advance firmwide change initiatives by building connective tissue across practices and teams, promoting shared language and norms, and supporting the adoption of processes that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and client impact.
  • Serve as the proposal center of excellence, partnering with firm leaders to bring our best materials, surface relevant firm expertise, and guide teams toward the right approach to our biggest
  • Develop, tailor, and refine high-impact proposals, decks, and RFP responses for our most strategic clients and prospects that are clear, compelling, visually engaging, and aligned with the firm’s value proposition.
  • Analyze business development activity to generate insights on win rates and other key BD metrics, enabling data-informed improvements to the firm’s go-to-market strategy and client engagement.
  • Conduct in-depth research and synthesize insights to enhance existing approaches and cultivate new solutions and thought pieces that address emerging client needs, industry trends, and market challenges, equipping teams with strategic content for client conversations and opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a centralized library of off-the-shelf qualifications materials and anonymized client presentations, ensuring best-in-class content is curated, organized, standardized, and readily reusable across the firm.
  • Partner with teams across practices and regions to enable knowledge exchange, align on cross-practice initiatives, and enhance the firm’s ability to deliver seamless, high-impact business development support.
  • Enhance and standardize our firm’s externally facing brand identity through our materials, events and marketing efforts, and publications to convey a consistent, clear, and compelling story.
  • You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, marketing, Knowledge, or business development role, with exposure to client engagements and proposal support; knowledge of or a strong interest in leadership and talent development is a plus.
  • Strong relationships orientation, with the ability to earn trust and credibility with senior leaders through reliability, quality, and clear communication.
  • Experience developing executive-ready materials, including proposals, presentations, or client deliverables that reflect clarity, structure, brand consistency, and are visually appealing.
  • Experience supporting growth transformations or change management initiatives, particularly working in complex, high-stakes, senior stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound professional judgement and the ability to connect client priorities to clear, compelling value propositions.
  • Familiarity with and interest in marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Experience with business development tools and technology, including Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Dun & Bradstreet Hoovers.
  • Comfort with reporting success metrics and continuously improving processes for efficiency and quality.

    Compensation
     
    Certain US jurisdictions require ghSMART to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. We are built on a culture of freedom and flexibility, we operate fully remotely, and our team members balance deeply energizing, high intensity work, with flexible schedules to support life outside of work. Our compensation model reflects these values. Compensation for this role in the United States includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution, and a comprehensive benefits package. You should reasonably expect a base salary of approximately $105,000.
