Background: Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) provides regional situational awareness and enhanced understanding through sound analytical assessments on military, political, and security related issues to inform and shape discussions and decisions affecting national and Department of Defense (DoD) policy, planning, acquisition, and military operations. Given recent events throughout the Middle East and Africa, the need for greater, in-depth understanding of critical intelligence issues in this region of the world has become even more urgent.
Our objective is to provide personnel to assist DIA in meeting its mission of providing cutting-edge all-source, current, and predictive intelligence assessments on military, political, and security related issues in this region.
Description: Qualified candidate will support DIA Middle East/Africa Regional Center (MARC) mission. As an All-Source Analyst, you will produce strategic-level products for assigned AOR, provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other specialized assistance involving the full spectrum of DoD, IC, CI/HUMINT programs. Acceptable candidate should have experience effecting all-source intelligence analysis in response to production requirements for critical and high-threat foreign intelligence adversaries. Must be able to proactively engage and respond to priority requirements in support of senior OSD officials, Joint Staff, DoD agencies, and component organizations. Must be skilled in the production and presentation of quality finished intelligence products. Must be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing. Must be organized, efficient, and respond to multiple taskings within designated time-lines.
Candidate will provide all-source, current, and predictive intelligence assessments on military, political, and security related issues for the regions of the Middle East and North Africa. We are seeking to enhance efforts to assess civilian and military political issues throughout this region to include militant Islamic organizations and theory; medical intelligence and counter narcotics, especially the impact of drug usage to military and foreign military capabilities; infrastructure analysis specific to water, economics, energy and transportation/logistics; and collection management operations. The focus is in conducting analysis and assessments and producing intelligence products related to military leadership intentions; civil military relations and leadership ascension; security and stability; military capabilities; and order of battle.

Qualifications Required:
Junior Level:
Bachelor or master's degree & 2-3 years’ intelligence analysis experience.
Mid- Level:
Bachelor or master’s degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience.
