Strategic Account Manager (STOLA)

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT services, or a VAR environment.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a territory-based role.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex deals involving executive-level stakeholders and enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience developing new business through prospecting and building relationships across multiple levels within an organization.
- Established network of clients and vendors within the Houston, TX area.
- Experience selling to public sector clients including State, Local, and Education (SLED: K–12/ISDs and Higher Ed).
- Relevant sales certifications from cybersecurity vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.).
- Understanding of MDR (Managed Detection and Response), Risk & Compliance services, and Professional Services.
- Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and solution positioning.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a collaborative mindset.
- High degree of organization, time management, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment and travel locally as needed.
- Must be able to travel regularly (25%) to customer sites in or near the STOLA region and occasionally to the company headquarters in Plano, TX.
- Ability to navigate client environments, which may include walking, stairs, or carrying light materials (up to 25 lbs).
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working remotely or attending meetings.
- Ability to operate a laptop and standard office equipment.
- Participation in virtual meetings and occasional in-person trainings or company events as needed.
- Clear verbal, visual, and auditory capabilities to present, communicate, and engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
