• Drive new business sales and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and pipeline metrics while maintaining accurate Salesforce CRM data.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos, both virtually and in person.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop solutions tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms in accordance with company standards.
• Develop long-term client relationships to ensure renewals, upsells, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a strong understanding of CyberOne’s solutions portfolio and vendor ecosystem.
• Actively contribute to team goals, sales strategy discussions, and market expansion initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience with a Value-Added Reseller (VAR), cybersecurity manufacturer, or IT services provider.
• Demonstrated success managing a territory and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity sales cycles, particularly complex or enterprise-level deals.
• Experience selling to public sector clients including State, Local, and Education (SLED: K–12/ISDs and Higher Ed).
• Understanding of MDR (Managed Detection and Response), Risk & Compliance services, and Professional Services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and solution positioning.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a collaborative mindset.
• High degree of organization, time management, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel locally as needed.
• Ability to navigate client environments, which may include walking, stairs, or carrying light materials (up to 25 lbs).
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working remotely or attending meetings.
• Ability to operate a laptop and standard office equipment.
• Participation in virtual meetings and occasional in-person trainings or company events as needed.
• Clear verbal, visual, and auditory capabilities to present, communicate, and engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
