Store Operations Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Store Operations Platform Engineer to support the evolution and reliability of our store platform services. This hybrid position involves close collaboration with multiple development and operations teams, aiming to deliver and maintain scalable and resilient systems for retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services supporting store operations.
• Work across teams to ensure seamless integration between store services and central systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance.
• Implement automation and CI/CD best practices to streamline deployment workflows.
• Contribute to infrastructure and architectural decisions that ensure scalability and high availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development, preferably in a retail or distributed systems environment.

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, service orchestration, and system integration.
• Good knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Working knowledge of cloud environments is a plus (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, and system design.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional agile team.
