Help keep the wheels turning for Fort Worth Water. We’re hiring a Stock Clerk – Warehouse to support our 24/7 Field Operations Division by managing materials, tracking inventory, and ensuring crews have what they need—when they need it.

In this role, you’ll handle everything from receiving and stocking parts to fulfilling field crew requests, operating forklifts, processing orders, and maintaining records in our warehouse system. Your organization and attention to detail directly support the crews who maintain Fort Worth’s essential water and wastewater infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of warehouse experience using automated inventory/purchasing systems
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Availability to work a 24-hour rotating call-back schedule
  • Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current forklift certification
  • Experience working in a large-scale warehouse
  • Experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Strong customer service background and interpersonal skills

The Stock Clerk - Warehouse job responsibilities include:

  • Maintain, order and stock issuing parts and materials according to set inventory levels.
  • Maintain and monitor stock records, logs and files.
  • Perform tasks using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Assist customers at warehouse service counter.
  • Unload and receive incoming shipments and place into inventory.
  • Perform periodic physical inventory of stock.
  • Pick up and deliver parts and materials as directed.
