STMS - Traffic Management

We are on the lookout for a committed Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS) to join our Traffic Services Division based in Te Kūiti!  We are a down-to-earth, hard-working crew delivering quality road maintenance and civil construction across Waitomo, Ruapehu, and Ōtorohanga.

As an STMS, you will be front and centre - keeping our worksites safe, traffic flowing, and teams protected. You'll coordinate traffic control operations, lead from the front, and make sure every site runs smoothly and safely.

You will be proficient in:

• Supervision and providing direction to traffic management crews.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
• Maintaining excellent clear communication with site personnel, contractors, and relevant RCA’s.

To be successful in this position, you will have: 

• A current STMS qualification - Level 1, 2/3, Cat A/B Practicing - the more experience the better.  
• Minimum Class 1 - Class 2 Licence (ideally)
• Strong knowledge of traffic management regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and supervision skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
