Job Description 
As a Staffing Manager, you will ultimately hold the keys to ensuring the successful staffing of Rightpointers across our growing organization. You will partner closely with our national practice leaders and local office leadership to staff teams for success across a variety of digital projects.
A critical component of this role is owning and leveraging accurate, real-time reporting to drive proactive staffing decisions. Through consistent analysis of utilization, bookings, capacity, and demand trends, you will identify risks and opportunities early, ensuring full billability, balanced workloads, and alignment with client commitments.
The ultimate goal of this role is to assemble the best teams—balancing project and client needs with team members’ career aspirations—while using data-driven insights to stay ahead of workforce needs and support sustainable growth.
 
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Staffing & Workforce Planning
  • Own and manage project staffing decisions for delivery teams across India and the US.
  • Evaluate role skillsets and levels of expertise to ensure staffing aligns with project requirements and delivery success.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and pending opportunity closings to proactively anticipate demand.
  • Communicate future talent gaps to Recruiting when internal resources are unavailable.

Reporting, Analytics & Utilization Management (Core Ownership Area)
  • Own the staffing reporting and analytics function, leveraging Power BI and other tools to analyze utilization, bookings, capacity, and demand trends.
  • Drive data-informed conversations with Practice and Sales leadership regarding utilization performance, staffing risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Manage utilization by identifying staffing gaps, over-allocations, under-allocations, and bench risk through consistent reporting analysis and action planning.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy by reinforcing system discipline and data integrity standards.

Leadership Communication & Cross-Practice Collaboration
  • Partner with leadership to communicate project assignments and staffing strategies with clarity and data-backed rationale.
  • Lead regular staffing meetings with Practice and Sales leadership, presenting insights, forecasting challenges, and recommending solutions.
  • Train employees on staffing systems and processes.
  • Ensure strong collaboration across all Practices to support enterprise-wide staffing effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in Resource Management
  • Strong communication skills and problem solving
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to changing demand, detail oriented and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Requirements 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a consulting environment with rapidly changing project needs
  • Comfortable with using Power BI Reports
  • Knowledge and experience with PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools (OpenAir)
