Staff System Engineer

Position: Staff System Engineer

What will you do?  

•  Manage and integrate client engineering tools, including:

1. 1.  ManageEngine (Desktop Central, Asset Explorer)
   2. CrowdStrike (Falcon Insight, Falcon Prevent)
   3. Other client engineering tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Jamf)

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for client engineering tools and processes
• Troubleshoot complex issues with client devices, servers, and networks
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of client engineering tools with existing infrastructure
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve client engineering processes
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and IT staff
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in system engineering, preferably in a large-scale environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Technical certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+)
• Strong knowledge of:

1. 1. Mac and Windows client operating systems
   2. System servers (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
   3.  Networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, switches, routers)
   4. Client engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Jamf)

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and threat management
