THE OPPORTUNITY: At Clari + Salesloft, our Staff Engineer will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing team in India. We are looking for experienced Staff Engineers who can help realize Clari + Salesloft vision with their passion and proven track record of excellence and innovation. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about their work and who thrive working on leading-edge cloud-based technologies to develop ground-breaking AI-driven enterprise-grade applications. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible to -Design and lead the next-generation engineering experience including Internal Developer Portal, Self-Service Environment Provisioning, Continuous Delivery Pipelines, AI Developer Tooling and Automation, Remote Debugging, and Distributed TracingCreate functional specifications and technical design documents for projects owned by the Developer Experience TeamCollaborate effectively with product owners, stakeholders, leaders, architects, and engineers across the company to solve complex technical problemsLead and mentor engineers to accelerate their growth and progression, providing technical guidance, coaching, and actionable feedbackAs a technical leader within the Developer Experience Team, you are passionate about improving the lives of your fellow engineers. You have demonstrated experience building CI/CD pipelines, are fluent in deployment patterns and advocate for when to use them. You enjoy installing the latest deployment management solution in your local Kubernetes stack and appreciate how the features click together. You bring cross-functional experience designing, building, and testing applications, and you can advocate for proven engineering patterns and best practices to deliver reliable outcomes. You have strong opinions, loosely held, and will gladly change your mind when presented with compelling data. We partner with engineering teams to establish standards, improve reliability, and increase cost-efficiency. This is a great opportunity to make a massive impact on scaling cloud infrastructure to meet the high demand and rapid growth of both users and workload per user. The Developer Experience team enables Clari+Salesloft’s engineers to build, test, and deliver software efficiently and reliably by stewarding the platforms, practices, and policies that underpin the software development lifecycle from development to production. The team sets direction and establishes standards for build, test, deployment, and release workflows, supporting and empowering engineering teams by providing the tooling, frameworks, and guidance while allowing them to retain ownership of their service deployments, tests, and functional domains. You will be instrumental in laying the foundations for the tools, patterns, and practices that enable our AI and product engineering teams to build the next generation of services.  THE SKILL SET:
  • 8+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), following best practices
  • Demonstrated experience configuring build tools (Gradle, Maven, Bazel), continuous delivery/deployment tools (Flux, ArgoCD, Jenkins), and pipeline automation capabilities including testing, static code analysis, and reporting
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end to end testing platforms and practices
  • Experience building cloud-based enterprise applications or systems using Java, Typescript, and/or Javascript a plus
  • Experience integrating AI tooling into development workflows to automate and improve developer experience and productivity
  • Passion for using metrics and data to solve challenging problems, make decisions, and iterate quickly
  • Experience working in a remote-first, globally distributed team
