Staff/ Senior Data Product Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Data & AI Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our data and artificial intelligence-powered capabilities that underpins the entire HG portfolio.. You will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging the power of data and AI to solve complex user problems and create significant business value. You will work closely with engineering, data science, design, and marketing teams to bring cutting-edge solutions to life.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Define the product roadmap and success metrics for your ownership areas in alignment with company vision, customer needs, and market trends.
• Conduct thorough market research, user interviews, and data analysis to identify unmet needs and opportunities for data and AI-driven solutions.
• Transform user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and data science teams.
• Conduct detailed market research and customer validation to demonstrate the ROI of different product opportunities prior to investment.
• Effectively prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact, ensuring a well-defined and groomed product backlog.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure requirements are clear, user stories are written, and acceptance criteria followed per agile software development principles.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data and AI products, iterating based on data-driven insights.
• Ensure that all data and AI products are developed and deployed with a strong focus on data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
• Clearly and concisely communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Engage with customers frequently to share the roadmap, collect feedback, and develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
• Engage with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams frequently to collect feedback, collaborate on solutions, and drive product adoption and engagement.  
• Continuously research and evaluate emerging trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and AI to identify opportunities for innovation.

What You’ll Need:

• 5-7+ years product management experience in the Big Data, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics space 
• Strong understanding of data science principles, machine learning algorithms, and AI technologies.
• Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise product requirements and user stories.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• A customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving user problems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.   
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
