Role Overview We are seeking a Staff Product Manager - AI (Platform) to lead the foundations that power HighLevel’s AI ecosystem. This role is responsible for building scalable, reliable, and governed AI platform capabilities that enable teams across HighLevel to ship AI-powered products faster, safer, and at scale. You will define and own the AI platform layer including agent frameworks, model orchestration, data and context pipelines, evaluation, observability, governance, and internal developer enablement. This is a highly technical, systems-oriented role with org-wide impact. Key Responsibilities: AI Platform Strategy & Vision: - Define the long-term vision and strategy for HighLevel’s AI platform and shared AI infrastructure. - Establish HighLevel’s internal “AI primitives” and reusable building blocks (agents, tools, memory, orchestration, evaluation). - Serve as the AI platform thought leader, influencing product, engineering, and leadership decisions. Product Planning and Roadmap: - Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI platform capabilities from 0-to-1 through scale. - Design and evolve internal platforms for: - Agent builders and orchestration - LLM and model management - Context and data pipelines - Evaluation, observability, and quality metrics - AI governance, permissions, and compliance - Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability across billions of daily events. Responsible AI & Governance - Embed AI ethics, transparency, auditability, and compliance into platform design. - Partner with legal, security, and infra teams to define safe-by-default AI systems. - Build guardrails that enable innovation without slowing product teams. Internal Enablement & Leverage - Enable product teams to ship AI features faster through documentation, tooling, and clear abstractions. - Reduce duplicated AI efforts across teams by centralizing core capabilities. - Act as the internal “customer” for platform adoption and usability. Success Metrics - Adoption of AI platform capabilities by internal product teams - Reduction in time-to-ship AI features - Platform reliability, latency, and cost efficiency - Quality and consistency of AI outputs across products - Governance readiness for enterprise customers and IPO scrutiny Stakeholder Communication - Regularly communicate product strategy, decisions, milestones, and insights to stakeholders and executives. - Provide guidance to teams working across functions and divisions, ensuring organizational alignment. - Be the subject matter expert on AI use cases, product development, and market fit across the org. Qualifications - 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in building and scaling AI-powered products. - Demonstrated success in leading 0-to-1 launches and driving iterative growth. - Deep familiarity with AI technologies such as LLMs, NLP, ML models, agent builders, and chat/voice bots. - Understanding of how AI integrates into SaaS environments and how SaaS ecosystems work. - SaaS background is highly recommended. - Strong track record in leading cross-functional teams in agile environments. - Excellent product sense, analytical skills, and communication capabilities.
