What you'll do
We are looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer with strong expertise in React Native to join our Patient domain at Doctolib.
As a Mobile Staff Engineer, your mission will be to work on transforming the Doctolib mobile app into a full health companion powered by AI to help people lead healthier lives. You will play a key role in improving the quality, UX, and depth of our mobile application while contributing significantly to the technical foundations of mobile development for the team.
Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establish and evolve mobile architecture patterns and technical standards for the patient domain
- Drive technical excellence across mobile development, ensuring high code quality and best practices
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and guide architectural decisions for the mobile platform
- Mentor and support mobile engineers in implementing robust, scalable solutions
- Lead by example in building features that enhance the user experience and app performance
About our tech environment
- Our solutions are built on a single fully cloud-native platform that supports web and mobile app interfaces, multiple languages, and is adapted to the country and healthcare specialty requirements. To address these challenges, we are modularizing our platform run in a distributed architecture through reusable components.
- Our mobile applications are built with React Native. The rest of our stack is composed of Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python and Kotlin.

Who you are
Before you read on — if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply.
- You have at least 5+ years of software engineering experience building high-usage mobile applications, ideally in B2C environments
- You have deep expertise in React Native and mobile development best practices
- You have a track record of establishing technical standards and improving code quality at scale
- Are product-oriented and comfortable guiding your teammates to suggest tradeoffs to balance business needs with technical constraints.
- You demonstrate strong technical leadership and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges
- You are fluent in English
Now it would be fantastic if you:
- Have experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries
- Have contributed to open-source mobile projects or mobile developer communities
- Have experience with native iOS or Android development alongside React Native
