Staff Mobile Engineer (Android) - Coupang

Coupang Introduction 

Responsibilities  

• Responsible for Android app architect, design, development, code review, testing and releasing. 
• Leading the Android app design review and code review, ensure the code quality.
• Cross team collaboration, working closely with business team, product team and UI/UX team, ensure delivering new features with high quality in schedule.   
• Ensure the app availability and stability, provide the best customer experience to client.
• Keen to new technology, continously assessing and applying new technology, improving team's productivity and techonology leading.

Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of hands-on Android development experience 

• Rich Java/Kotlin experience. Rich app performance tuning experience. 

• Rich Android app releasing experience(Google Play);
• Understand deeply about Android platform, familiar with all UI components – activity, Fragment, View, Layout, Event, etc…
• Rich RESTful JSON API integration experience;
• Good understanding of design pattern, such as MVP/MVM;
• Experience working in fast-paced environments and building products from 0 to 1 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Flutter or React Native Experience
• Code refactoring experience 
• Background in the eCommerce, payment domain
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
