About the position

As a Staff Fullstack Engineer, you will be a technical North Star for the CRM & Plugins domain. You aren't just building features; you are architecting the foundational systems that transform how sales content is created, organized, and distributed at a global scale.

You will partner with product and engineering leadership to bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring our TypeScript-based serverless architecture on AWS remains resilient, scalable,flexible, and forward-thinking. This role is designed for a visionary who balances deep-dive coding with high-level system design and the mentorship of emerging talent.

What You’ll Do

  • Architectural Stewardship: Design and oversee the implementation of cloud-native, serverless software solutions that set the standard for performance, high availability and scalability across the organization.
  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Define the multi-year technical roadmap for CRM integrations (Salesforce, Microsoft, Google) and plugin ecosystems, ensuring long-term maintainability.
  • Cross-Functional Impact: Lead the most complex projects with a broad scope, maintaining high productivity while managing dependencies across multiple engineering squads.
  • Mentorship & Culture: Establish and uphold "best-in-class" engineering standards. Actively mentor senior engineers, lead code reviews, and foster an environment of continuous learning and rigorous testing.
  • System Optimization: Drive deep-level performance tuning and optimization of the entire stack—from Angular frontend efficiency to complex messaging and database integrations.
  • Innovation: Evangelize AI-native development practices and serverless advancements on AWS to keep Showpad at the cutting edge of Sales Enablement technology.
  • Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of critical systems, from initial requirement gathering through to automated deployment and seamless monitoring.

What We’re Looking For

  • Must haves

    • Proven Technical Authority: Extensive experience as a lead, staff, or principal engineer in a high-growth SaaS environment.
    • Architectural Depth: Mastery of TypeScript and modern web frameworks (preferably Angular), with the ability to design and improve complex, distributed full-stack cloud architectures.
    • Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with AWS serverless paradigms and the ability to automate infrastructure at scale.
    • Leadership Presence: Exceptional communication skills with a "team-first" mentality and a track record of leading through influence rather than just authority.
    • Agile Visionary: Mastery of agile methodologies, capable of refining processes to improve team velocity and output quality.

    Nice to haves

    • Domain Expertise: Prior experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Content Management Systems (CMS).
    • Ecosystem Building: Proven experience building and maintaining high-traffic SDK packages for third-party developers.
    • Polyglot Background: Familiarity with PHP, Kotlin, Go, or Python to assist in legacy transitions or specialized service development.
