Lead technical direction and build full stack features for a foundational product impacting 14 million+ students, while mentoring engineers and driving meaningful work.
Staff Full Stack Engineer, Surveys
About the Role
As a Staff Full Stack Engineer on the Surveys squad, you’ll help lead the next phase for Panorama’s first and most foundational product.
Surveys sit at the core of how districts understand student experience and well-being, supporting insight and action for educators serving 14 million+ students at schools nationwide.
This is a senior technical leadership role focused on building the right systems, guiding the right decisions, and enabling teams to deliver meaningful work sustainably. You’ll operate as a technical partner to Product and Design, a mentor and force multiplier for engineers on the Surveys squad, and a senior technical contributor across Panorama’s engineering
organization—helping shape shared patterns, standards, and long-term technical direction.
You’ll spend your time across three modes: setting technical direction, unblocking and guiding complex execution, and diving deep into the codebase when the hardest problems demand hands-on leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who values building for the long haul, clear ownership, and outsized impact through both their own work, the success of their squad, and the health of the broader engineering organization.
