Staff Engineer (Remote)

This role is ideal for a highly experienced software engineer with deep expertise in browser internals and advanced C++ programming. Accountabilities:

·         Develop, enhance, and optimize browser features using Chromium internals.

·         Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C++ components in complex system architectures.

·         Conduct advanced debugging, profiling, and performance tuning for browser and system-level modules.

·         Address memory management challenges and optimize resource utilization.

·         Collaborate with distributed systems components to ensure scalability, reliability, and robustness.

·         Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and product stakeholders.

·         Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best engineering practices.

·         Troubleshoot system-level issues and deliver long-term, scalable solutions.

Requirements

·         4+ years of hands-on experience with Chromium internals.

·         Minimum of 10 years of overall software engineering experience.

·         Deep expertise in C++ design principles, debugging, and performance optimization.

·         Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and memory management.

·         Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges with precision and efficiency.

·         Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for systems-level engineering.

·         Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with remote or hybrid teams.
