Primary role

Odessa’s Professional Services (Consulting) and Platform Team is looking for a Module Lead to provide technical expertise and business logic to enhance product modules. As a technical leader in the organization, you will be responsible for coding and team code reviews, as well as participation in product architecture, design, and all critical aspects of the SDLC. The Module Lead has advanced experience in .NET and other leading technologies and is comfortable fostering a team-oriented environment, providing technical oversight to team members.

What you’ll do

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Ability to master a solid understanding of the product’s business architecture and its business goals
Work closely with the product owners and technical leaders to help develop solution architecture, component design, and proof of concepts
Provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a group of developers
Evaluate/research new tools & technologies to solve client business problems

Basic qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering, computer science or related field
4-8 years of experience working with .NET technologies, with advanced proficiency in C#
A minimum of 3 years working with SQL Server Databases, designing new or altering existing table structures to meet project requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise architecture and SOA services
Strong background in web technologies and architectures.
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated analysis, design, and development skills

Preferred qualifications

Experience working with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, NoSQL, Message Queue, and building Reusable Libraries
Demonstrated project management skills
Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies, including Agile
Experience working in the delivery of complex business applications, preferably in the Banking and Financial Services domain
