Job Description:

Expand Bixby voice technology and features to include advanced research and projects in Wake word detection, automatic speech recognition, that includes Acoustic and Language Modeling, and personalization; other projects include voice recognition, language recognition, and speech enhancement. Apply knowledge of Deep/Machine Learning, Digital Signal Processing. Work with edge-devices and server build environments. 10% domestic and international travel required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, or a related field, plus 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering/ML related job titles.
Requires 3 years of experience in the following:
- (1) Deep/Machine Learning, Digital Signal Processing and working on building edge-devices and server build environments.
- (2) Automatic speech recognition including acoustic and language modeling.
- (3) developing mobile and embedded device software for Android and embedded platforms, including raspberry pi.
- (4) voice recognition, language recognition, and speech enhancement.
- (5) data collection, debugging, and improving machine learning results through error analysis, data augmentation, and hyper-parameter tuning.
- (6) applying machine learning approaches and software tools to build proof-of-concept user-facing end to end system prototypes.
- (7) designing and building full-stack end-to-end software prototypes to showcase new concepts and algorithms.
- (8) IoT platforms and deep learning platforms, including Pytorch and Tensorflow.
- (9) tuning and improving machine learning approaches to run on edge devices.

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. $234,062—$244,062 USD
