Staff Engineer, Generative AI

We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineer specializing in Generative AI to lead the design and development of advanced AI solutions at scale. This role involves building AI-enabled workflows, LLM-based systems, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, while ensuring seamless integration with cloud-native architectures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, performant AI applications. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI frameworks, modern cloud services, and innovative product teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong technical leadership, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to mentor peers on AI best practices.

Accountabilities

• Develop and implement Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based systems and RAG workflows.
• Design and review technical architectures, frameworks, and high-level system designs for AI applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Write, review, and optimize code for backend systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Define technology patterns, design standards, and benchmarks for non-functional requirements.
• Conduct POCs to validate technology choices and proposed AI solutions.
• Identify and analyze technical challenges, performing root-cause analysis and proposing robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on AI frameworks, integrations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience with strong expertise in Generative AI fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems, RAG implementations, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong proficiency in .NET backend development, API design, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture, AI/ML service integration, and serverless computing.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, Langfuse, or similar LLM tools.
• Strong knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving AI tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies.
