Staff Engineer - (front-end leaning)

AI overview

Architect and deliver impactful product features that transform customer experiences in managing electronics supply chain complexities while mentoring and shaping engineering culture.
At Cofactr, we're redefining the electronics supply chain with a platform that combines powerful software, an electronics marketplace, and in-house logistics support. We're a startup looking for skilled individuals who can handle ambiguity and complexity while remaining pragmatic. We're seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer (front-end leaning) to help architect and build product features that transform how customers manage their components and data. • Design, build, and own product functionality across the stack
  • Lead projects and make critical technical trade-offs, balancing performance, scalability, and user experience
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and customer-facing teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive solutions
  • Champion technical excellence in code quality, testing, accessibility, and performance
  • Contribute to technical leadership by guiding peers, surfacing risks, and ensuring alignment with product goals
  • Potentially step into a hands-on management role as the team grows
  • Must Haves
  • 8+ years of experience building and scaling complex SaaS products
  • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks
  • Solid experience with Python backends and Postgres databases
  • Proven ability to ship high-quality features from design to production in a startup environment
  • Excellent communication skills—able to partner with product and non-technical stakeholders, surface key insights, and bring others along in decision-making
  • Experience in technical leadership: setting direction, mentoring, and guiding teams through ambiguity
  • Startup mentality: you are resilient, pragmatic, and ambitious, and you know how to push for impact while maintaining strong working relationships
  • Benefits

    • Competitive salary and equity
    • 100% employee premium coverage of health, dental, and vision plans
    • FSA offerings
    • 401(k) with 4% company matching
    • flexible time off policy
    • Commuter benefits with a company contribution
