What You Will Be Doing

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will be a strategic technical leader, defining DevOps vision across the organization. You’ll own complex system designs, influence cross-functional teams, and set standards for automation, reliability, and scalability at enterprise scale.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

Define and drive DevOps strategy across multiple teams and projects

Lead design of large-scale, highly available infrastructure systems

Champion best practices in CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native architecture

Collaborate with engineering leadership to align DevOps with product goals

Evaluate and introduce new tools/technologies to improve efficiency

Act as a subject matter expert in cloud, automation, and reliability engineering

Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Drive incident response and postmortem processes at organizational level

Requirement

8–12+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with leadership exposure

Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems

Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, service mesh, and microservices deployment

Strong background in automation, observability, and performance tuning

Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams

Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
