The selected candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed engineer with experience performing scientific and technical (S&TI) all-source analysis on foreign aircraft engines, both turbine and reciprocating, and aircraft performance analysis. The Aerospace Engineer will be a part of a team immersed in high-demand, national-level intelligence reporting.
 
What You'll Do 
  • Maintain online database records, to include maintenance of images, weapons, capabilities, and performance data
  • Collect and evaluate information to determine relevancy and accuracy of systems and subsystems for specified aircraft engines
  • Documenting work, with sourcing, into database records
  • Documenting engine data, to include capturing assessments in databases and published product formats
  • Conduct analysis of aircraft performance systems and subsystems 
What You'll Bring 
  • Bachelors in degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with 4 or more years of experience in the areas of aviation, aeronautics, and/or fixed-wing engines and their subsystems
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required 
  • Experience with Intelligence Data and DoD Program Life-Cycle Mission Data Plans
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word applications
  • Experience working with SAVANT/KPS data tools

  • Professional experience with the analysis of aircraft parametric data
  • Professional experience with aircraft engine research and development, design, and/or flight testing
  • Experience performing classified and unclassified research on performance, characteristics, capabilities, and vulnerabilities of aircraft engines
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills; demonstrated ability to brief findings to customers and/or managers

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Dayton, OH is estimated at $103,000 to $141,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
