Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes while contributing to process improvements that help scale our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement preparation
• Prepare and manage monthly client billing
• Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and bank reconciliations
• Assist with expense reimbursement processing, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation
• Analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial statements
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting and business processes to support company growth
• Support ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and provide financial guidance
• Assist with compliance activities, including audits, tax support, and other regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 1 year in an operational accounting role within a high-growth environment
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in SaaS or technology industry strongly preferred
