About the role


We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to manage our regional financial operations. This role will oversee accounting, reporting, compliance, and audits while working closely with local CPAs and external consultants. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls to support the company’s growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial operations in the assigned region, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank reconciliations with local CPAs.
  • Lead month-end close and prepare timely, accurate financial reports.
  • Review payroll entries and reconciliations, ensuring payroll templates and GL mappings are accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including income tax, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and file tax returns; coordinate with external tax consultants as needed.
  • Manage government and regulatory filings, including annual financial statements.
  • Support statutory audits by providing financial data and documentation.
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, preparing transfer pricing calculations and postings.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
  • Minimum 4 years of related accounting/finance experience
  • Broad knowledge of accounting principles, and compliance with IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments
  • Experience with NetSuite (preferred)
  • Prior audit experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power Query and Power BI experience a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic with a success-driven, positive, and proactive attitude
