Your Role:

The Senior Supply Planning Analyst will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the day-to-day activities that make our supply chain successful. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply and Network Optimization, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the supply chain process across various business functions. 

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and coordinate execution of supply and deployment plans for co-manufacturing partners, determining and implementing strategies to ensure supply while minimizing waste. 
  • Partner with inventory control to ensure best inventory management and data integrity practices.
  • Place orders with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.  
  • Assist in developing and maintaining our supply chain including processes, tools, and templates, to support effective decision-making and alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and insights derived from data analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external partners to continuously improve the planning process with co-manufacturers.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various business decisions on logistics, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the business environment and provide recommendations for strategic actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. 
  • Support the integration of operational and strategic plans to ensure alignment and synchronization across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our processes and streamline decision-making.  

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning, deployment, customer facing supply chain, inventory management, or other supply chain roles. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% for company offsites and events, team meetings, company onboarding, training and other business needs.   
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Experience with sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes preferred.
  • Ability to quickly build strong community relationships and foster strong partnerships to support the business.  
  • You are highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple, time sensitive, priorities and deadlines at once. 
  • You can lead and engage in creative problem-solving with both internal and external partners to identify barriers and come to mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

At Vital Farms, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to, skill level, experience, education, training, market demands, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current starting annual base salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. Please keep in mind that hiring at the maximum end of the range would not be typical in order to allow for potential continued future salary growth.
