Core AI is at the heart of LinkedIn’s AI innovation, incubating and delivering the company’s most ambitious moonshot initiatives. This Sr.Staff Technical Program Management (TPM) will be accountable for driving successful outcomes across these high-impact, cross-functional AI initiatives that impact the LinkedIn's products.


We are seeking someone who is an expert of the TPM craft—someone who brings deep technical program leadership, operational rigor, strategic judgment, execution, collaboration, and impact as Core AI turns bold ideas into reality. We are looking for individuals who have demonstrated technical leadership in development of  AI native products from incubation to productization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive key cross functional, technical engineering initiatives across engineering organizations.

  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize projects without losing sight of the highest priority items.

  • Take ambiguous problems, formulate plans to deliver successful results. 

  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively remove obstacles and handle critical issues.

  • Develop broad technical knowledge and domain expertise. Understand the long term implications of architectural and technical changes, while not losing focus on the short term deliverables.

  • Continuously improve and scale the organization. Improve processes where needed, while being cognizant of not slowing down engineering teams.

  • Ability to influence, empower, build strategic relationships and align people across a broad variety of job functions through relationships.

  • Passionate about quality, with a data driven approach.

  • Analytical and truth seeking. Ability to understand sophisticated concepts and make reasoned decisions objectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high emotional intelligence.

  • Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver

  • Experience with or solid understanding of end-to-end software development.

  • Coach and mentor others on the team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A. Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years professional experience in an engineering or technical team, managing technical programs/projects
  • Experience with large scale AI systems and Generative AI 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing company wide, large scale, high impact programs.

  • Experience managing programs in lead capacity where multiple TPMs were involved.

  • Knowledge of complex technical ecosystems and adequate technical depth.

  • Experience managing multiple major and concurrent projects/programs executed through multiple geographic locations.

  • Direct experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams and individual contributors.

  • Have previously worked on large scale technology initiatives.

  • Mastered Agile methods and practices through multiple teams (Scrum and Kanban).

  • Experience managing the lifecycle of large-scale programs and projects.

  • Excellent communication skills; skilled at cross-functional and cross-organizational communication and attention to detail.

  • Experience with software engineering practices and familiarity with coding techniques.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to faster pace, shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience in planning and collaboration tools.

The pay range for this role is $166,000 to $271,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
