We are seeking a talented and passionate Sr./Staff Scientist to join our growing team. You will lead chemistry efforts to develop multi-step chemical processes that will be implemented in our groundbreaking technology.   • Design, and implement experimental strategies in developing chemistries for a non-mass spec based proprietary proteomics workflow
  • Develop and optimize protocols to accommodate cross-functional processes including the automation if necessary
  • Manage and prioritize multiple timelines across diverse projects/goals in coordination with other functional progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team activities, demonstrating commitment to the rapid identification and resolution of problems, and advancing projects through critical internal review processes
  • Review research papers and intellectual property literature in support of ongoing research projects
  • Ph.D. in organic, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering with at least 5 years of professional experience in a biotech or pharma environment.
  • Extensive experience in developing novel chemical methodologies for proximity ligation, surface chemistry/ beads assay development, solid-phase synthesis and advanced purification techniques, and beyond.
  • Proficiency in contemporary protein (orthogonal) conjugation and analytical methods such as mass spectrometry, HPLC, and NMR.
  • Deep understanding of Edman degradation in protein sequencing chemistry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Willing and capable of being hands-on in the wet-lab

Additional Information:

  • Base salary: $130,000/year - $160,000/year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skillsets.
