Job Summary

Successful candidate will be joining a team of Assembly Engineers to oversee new products releases from A&C and Power PG’s. Manage OSAT’s production metrics and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage OSAT’s production assembly yield and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement process improvements.

Manage all phases of PCN’s related to OSAT 2nd source qual, product transfer, fab porting projects and new machines phase-in.

Assist in launching new products/ programs through technical reviews (TRA, DOE & SL build) with NPI team.

Ensure customer specific requirements and engineering records such as control plans, process flow diagrams, work instructions are current, documented and accurately maintained thru CMO spec documentation.

Co-work with Assy Eng’g Manager to develop and generate strategic plans for team’s yearly KPI’s and cost reduction initiatives.

People management, supervised team members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure CIP’s, PCN’s and 2nd source quals smooth execution and resolve assembly related issues.

Must be willing to work flexible hours to support new products HVM launch and attend internal/ external calls from different time zones.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field.

Must have 8+ years experienced as a WLCSP Bump Process Engineer and/or NPI Engineer, working experienced from tier 1 OSAT’s companies is a plus.

Strong understanding of assembly line operations & production management, with working knowledge of Bumping and Back End manufacturing methods.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong understanding of 8D concepts and able to lead the team in problem resolution.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Demonstrated organizational, communication and people management skills.
