Job Description:
- Develop Java Technologies while working in a test-driven development environment.
- Partner with software development team to map technical requirements into architecture and technical design tasks, plan releases, and ensure the team delivers on the committed plan.
- Participate in design and code reviews across the software development team and establish best practices.
- Support production applications and releases.
- Work with remote software development teams, and provide training and mentorship to development team members.

Perform scalability and performance analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.

5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in building distributed and scalable internet software.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 8 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in building distributed and scalable internet software in lieu of a Master’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience.

Work experience to include: (1) 5 years of experience (or 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree) utilizing Java Stack and relational databases, including Open Source Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Oracle, and MySQL. (2) 5 years of experience (or 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree) developing APIs and REST/SOAP web services. (3) 3 years of hands-on experience (or 5 years of hands-on experience with a Bachelor’s degree) in Angular and front-end tools and technologies (Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX). (4) Utilizing microservices and distributed architecture, DevOps, Cloud, AWS, and Scale Technologies, including Kafka and NoSQL. (5) Utilizing agile SDL processes (Scrum or Kanban). (6) Working with geographically distributed teams.
- Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
- 40 hours/week.
- Salary: $156,998 to $161,998 per year.
