Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust JavaScript solutions for interacting with 3rd party web application data.

• Develop browser extensions or scripts for real-time data analysis.

• Create maintainable and scalable code that can adapt to website changes.

• Debug complex DOM interactions and event propagation.

• Implement data transformation and modification capabilities.

• Write comprehensive documentation and maintain code quality.

• Develop tests for existing code to catch bugs and ensure the software is secure and stable.

Requirements

• Either a bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving coding (e.g., computer science, engineering, information technology) or equivalent technical experience

• 5-8 years of advanced JavaScript programming.

• Deep understanding of DOM internals including traversal and manipulation.

• Expert knowledge of event handling and propagation.

• Experience with modern web frameworks (React/Angular/Vue/Preact etc).

• 2+ years of browser extension or web scraping/data extraction experience with strong understanding of browser internals.

• Proven track record of complex web application development.

• Experience leveraging LLMs for automation is a major plus.

• Familiarity with common programming best practices, data patterns, and software design structures.

Salary range:

$135,000-$188,000 (Bay Area)
