Axon Air delivers Drone‑as‑First‑Responder (DFR) solutions that augment first responders with autonomous drones that arrive fast and provide critical situational awareness to keep officers and communities safer. As a Sr. Software Engineer II on Axon Air, you will design and ship core systems that enable autonomous DFR operations and the integrations that make them effective in the field. You’ll work across Axon Evidence, Axon Fusus, Dedrone Beyond, and partner platforms like Skydio to build reliable, secure, and scalable services that deliver situational awareness to first responders within minutes of an incident. Your work will directly advance Axon’s moonshot goal to cut gun‑related deaths between police and the public by 50% over the next decade.

Location: Seattle, WA
This role is based out of our Seattle Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
