Sr. Regional Business Manager – Australia

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial growth for Alamar’s proteomics and single‑cell analysis portfolio across Australia and NZ, with a focus on academic research institutes, clinical research organizations, Large Population Clinical Cohorts and biopharma customers.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global commercial objectives, including territory planning, pipeline management, and quarterly forecasting.
  • Work closely with our Distributor in coordinating Sales & Marketing activities and oversee Account Management across Australia and NZ.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, principal investigators, core facility directors, and industry partners to accelerate adoption of Alamar’s technologies.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from prospecting and product demonstrations to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Partner closely with field applications scientists to deliver high‑quality technical support, ensuring successful onboarding, training, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs to inform product positioning and regional strategy.
  • Represent Alamar Biosciences at conferences, workshops, and customer events to promote brand visibility and scientific engagement.
  • Collaborate with APAC marketing, product management, and global commercial teams to localize campaigns, generate demand, and support product launches.
  • Maintain accurate CRM ( SFDC ) records, including Consumable and ARGO-HT Forecasting by QTR, account activity, opportunity tracking, and customer insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in life‑science instrumentation, proteomics, genomics, or related research technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Australian biomedical research ecosystems, funding pathways, and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated success in territory management, strategic selling, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences, from bench scientists to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast‑growing, innovation‑driven biotech environment is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel across Australia and NZ to meet customers and support regional initiatives.

 Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance‑based commission + equity participation. Total compensation will reflect experience, performance, and market benchmarks.
