Job Summary
The Senior Automation Developer is a pivotal member of our Enterprise Automation & AI team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality automation solutions. This role spans a variety of platforms and technologies, including UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel VBA, and .NET/Azure integrations. The position is focused on building scalable automations, implementing best practices, and collaborating with Business Analysts, Process Consultants, and other cross-functional teams to drive modernization and operational efficiency across the company.

Automation Solution Delivery – 45%
- Design, build, test, and deploy automation solutions using UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, and related technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical automation workflows and solution designs.
- Develop reliable, maintainable workflows including UI automation, orchestrator logic, API integrations, and document automation.
- Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and deployment-ready packages aligned with CoE standards.
- Evaluate process complexity, automation fit, and optimization opportunities prior to development.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Process Consultants to ensure business outcomes and process clarity.
Technical Standards & Quality – 25%
- Apply CoE development standards, reusable components, and best practices across all automation work.
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve exceptions to ensure stable performance in production.
- Configure UiPath Orchestrator assets, queues, triggers, and schedules; support environment preparation in Power Platform.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and compliance with our automation standards.
- Maintain source control hygiene (branching, commits, versioning) and support CI/CD pipelines for automation deployments.
Integration, AI, and Document Intelligence – 20%
- Build and consume REST APIs, connectors, and integration patterns with guidance from integration teams.
- Implement intelligent document-processing workflows using UiPath Document Understanding, Azure Document Intelligence, or similar technologies.
- Incorporate cognitive capabilities (Azure AI, language models, decision automation) to enhance automation outcomes.
- Support experimentation and modernization opportunities aligned with our Automation & AI roadmap.
Collaboration, Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvment – 10%
- Share technical knowledge, patterns, and lessons learned with peers and contribute to the CoE knowledge base.
- Partner with Process Consultants, Business Analysts, and business teams during intake, discovery, and problem-solving sessions.
- Support knowledge transfer from implementation partners by learning and documenting technical patterns and reusable assets.
- Model a curious, challenge-oriented mindset that seeks process simplification before automation.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance reusability, performance, and delivery velocity.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6 years of experience in automation development using UiPath and Power Automate
- Hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise automation solutions integrating multiple systems.
- Skilled in .NET, REST APIs, Azure Functions, or similar integration technologies preferred.
- Experience with AI or intelligent document-processing technologies is a plus.
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (or UiPath Professional certification) strongly preferred
- Experience automating processes on mainframe systems is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver high-quality work independently.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
