Requirements:
- Experience in CPG, Food & Beverage (natural & conventional grocers, mass-market retailers)
- 8+ years of customer/commercial marketing, commercialization, or related experience
- Experience with syndicated data (SPINs, Nielsen, IRI) and category management
- Interest and passion for raw foods and kombucha
- Proven track record in leading/growing commercial marketing and sales
Job Responsibilities:
The Project Manager - Commercialization will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of new product innovation and optimization, ensuring efficient and timely execution from initial concept to successful market introduction. This role will require the Project Manager to work closely with a diverse range of cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, Marketing, Operations, Brand, Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain, to bring products to market while ensuring that all quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading and managing complex projects within fast-paced, high-growth environments, and possess a deep understanding of the end-to-end commercialization process. From initial product ideation to post-launch analysis, the Project Manager will drive the seamless coordination of all necessary activities, addressing challenges along the way and keeping teams aligned to ensure products meet business objectives, consumer needs, and company timelines.
This role also demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt strategies based on market demands, project performance, and stakeholder input. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative and dynamic setting, demonstrating the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time, high-quality product launches.
Essential Duties:
- Lead end-to-end project management for new product innovation and optimization, ensuring timely go-to-market execution and milestone achievement.
- Collaborate with leadership, Marketing, Operations, Brand, Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain to drive projects from concept to successful commercialization.
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring all stages of the New Product Development (NPD) process are completed efficiently.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, providing clear action plans to keep teams aligned and focused on project goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring successful delivery of projects that meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Maintain project documentation, including status reports and performance metrics, for senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, execution speed, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee the development, packaging, and marketing materials for product launches, ensuring all deliverables are finalized and compliant.
- Monitor post-launch performance, gather feedback, and recommend necessary adjustments to optimize product success.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless execution of product launch and commercialization activities.
- Ensure that all project teams are properly resourced and that all dependencies are managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects from concept to launch using established project management methodologies.
- Expertise in NPD processes and commercialization, ensuring products meet quality, regulatory, and market standards.
- Skilled in collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and external partners for seamless execution.
- Proficient in identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills to drive decision-making for senior leadership.
- Proven leadership and communication abilities to align teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ability to anticipate market trends and adapt strategies for successful product launches.
- Experience working with R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing to bring products to market.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Job Details:
- Work Hours: Hybrid (4 days in office), Standard business hours Monday through Friday
- Work Attire: Use good judgement, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.
- Pay Range: $125,000 - $140,000 annually, bonus eligible
