The Sr. Program Manager will serve as Chief of Staff and strategic partner to the VP of LMS Sales Operations. This role blends business operations, strategic problem-solving, and enterprise-scale program management to help drive clarity, execution, and operational rigor across the org. This role is designed for a strategic operator who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong analytical and structuring skills, and can translate complex business challenges into clear recommendations and executable plans. The individual will operate as a force multiplier for LMS Sales Ops leadership—owning the operating cadence of the business, driving alignment on priorities and investments, and leading cross-functional initiatives that improve sales productivity, scale, and execution effectiveness.

The role partners closely with Sales, Finance, GTM Ops, Product, Enablement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure LMS Sales Operations is positioned to deliver against growth, efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

Strategic Problem-Solving & Decision Support

  • Serve as a day-to-day strategic thought partner to the VP of LMS Sales Operations, supporting executive decision-making on priorities, tradeoffs, and investments.
  • Structure ambiguous business problems into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and decision frameworks.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to surface insights, assess options, and inform recommendations related to business performance, operating efficiency, and growth opportunities.
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready narratives for leadership forums, including LT meetings, QBRs, and planning discussions.
  • Translate company, GBO, and Sales strategy into actionable implications for LMS Sales Operations.

Business Operations & Operating Rhythm

  • Own and continuously improve the operating cadence of the LMS Sales Ops organization, including leadership team meetings, offsites, QBRs, OKRs, and annual / quarterly planning.
  • Drive prioritization and focus, ensuring leadership time and resources are aligned to the highest-impact initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to support FY planning, investment decisions, and resource alignment.
  • Establish mechanisms to ensure clarity, accountability, and follow-through across leadership commitments.

Program & Portfolio Management

  • Lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives across LMS Sales Operations (e.g., org vision design, operating model evolution, and cross-functional programs).
  • Apply strong program management discipline to scope work, define milestones, manage dependencies, and track progress against outcomes.
  • Identify risks and blockers early; proactively drive resolution and escalation when needed.
  • Build lightweight, scalable processes that improve execution velocity without adding unnecessary overhead.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Act as connective tissue across several cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels through strong executive presence, clear communication, and trusted partnerships.
  • Represent LMS Sales Operations leadership in select cross-company initiatives, forums, or working groups.
  • Coach and mentor program managers and partners by providing frameworks, operating models, and best-in-class execution practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Program Management or similar roles
  • 3+ years experience working at a technology company or internet environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills; experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools to support strategic decisions
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, including experience supporting VP- or C-level leaders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, create structure, and drive decisions forward
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience working in global, matrixed sales organizations
  • Familiarity with sales operations, go-to-market motions, or revenue-driving organizations
  • High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity, resilience, and sound judgment

The pay range for this role is $116,000 to $189,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
