As a Sr. Program Manager, you’ll serve as the primary interface between the contractor and the Government, responsible for comprehensive program management across all subtask areas. This role oversees all aspects of program execution, including team performance, personnel management, financials, reporting, and administrative support. The Program Manager ensures effective communication with Government leadership, maintains operational continuity, and delivers high-quality results in alignment with contract requirements. The Program Manager must be available during standard business hours and respond promptly to technical or administrative issues.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and interface with Government leadership and stakeholders, providing frequent briefings on program objectives, plans, activities, and overall status.
  • Oversee all aspects of program management, including team communication, performance, personnel, financials, and reporting.
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss program performance, issues, and upcoming initiatives; formulate and deliver action plans to address identified issues.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly Program Management Review presentations detailing completed and upcoming work.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all contract deliverables and compliance with Government standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support security processing, including coordination with the Government Office of the Chief Security Officer on all security matters (physical, personnel, and information protection).
  • Manage staffing, including submission of staffing plans, onboarding, training, mentorship, and supervision to ensure new hires deliver results within 45 business days.
  • Proactively manage and replace underperforming personnel, ensuring replacements are qualified and cleared as needed.
  • Ensure high quality of staff work products prior to submission to the Government.
  • Maintain administrative support functions, including meeting logistics, contractor provisioning requests, documentation, and coordination of contract modifications and procurement actions.
  • Provide real-time contract and financial information to the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) upon request.
  • If assigned tasks or projects fall behind schedule, submit a report detailing the issue, root causes, and a mitigation plan with a timeline for resolution.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 8+ years of experience, with at least five (5) years leading complex projects and programs, preferably on technical solutions development projects and Salesforce programs
  • Active CBP BI clearance required.
  • A certification in project management from a recognized credentialing agency (e.g., Project Management Profession (PMP) and/or Program management professional from the Project Management Institute) is preferred.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative work environment.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Agile program management
  • Experience effectively communicating with senior levels of a customer organization.
  • Experience delivering solutions to production and/or migrating legacy applications to new modern platforms.
  • Experience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute those items in accordance with approved plans.

SALARY RANGE: $128,000 - $142,000 (8%)

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including: 

  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
