Sr Product Marketing Manager SP

Primary Function of Position:
You will lead the marketing strategy and commercialization of the da Vinci® SP platform
in Korea. Core responsibilities include leading go-to-market strategy, market research,
insights generation, and marketing execution in close collaboration with cross-functional
teams to drive SP platform readiness, adoption, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
As a key leader for the SP platform, this individual will develop a deep understanding of
customer needs, clinical trends, and market dynamics, and translate these insights into
growth strategies and execution plans tailored to the market.
Korea is recognized as one of the leading markets for the SP platform, and this role will
play an important leadership role in shaping and communicating Korea’s SP success
stories, clinical insights, and best practices to regional and global teams. This position
will collaborate closely with cross-functional and global stakeholders to ensure strong
commercial performance and contribute to accelerating SP adoption across markets.


Roles and Responsibilities
• Use qualitative and quantitative market research methods, including direct customer
interviews and field observations, to generate insights that inform SP strategy, market
development, and product roadmap discussions.
• Develop in-depth market analyses, including competitive assessments, procedure
opportunity analysis, and market expansion strategies to support data-driven decision
making.
• Create and manage product profiles, including financial modeling, forecasting, and
market impact analysis to support strategic planning and growth initiatives for the SP
platform.
• Lead commercialization initiatives for the SP platform through close collaboration with
regional marketing, field sales, clinical teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Maintain a strong presence with customers and support field teams by addressing
customer feedback, troubleshooting critical issues, and identifying emerging trends in
clinical adoption.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Sales, Service, and Product Portfolio teams to ensure integrated strategy and consistent messaging for SP across the market.
• Partner with Corporate, Regional, and Global teams to localize launch strategies,
commercialization programs, and growth initiatives for the SP platform.
• Ensure consistent planning processes with clear product positioning, value messaging,
and strong commercial execution. Conduct post-launch reviews and work with market
teams to evaluate execution effectiveness and refine strategies.
• Identify and promote best practices to strengthen commercial capabilities and
accelerate SP adoption.
• Collect and synthesize insights from tradeshows, market research, customer
interviews, KOL interactions, and clinical case observations to generate meaningful
market insights for both existing and future SP innovations.
• Develop strong relationships with KOLs and key clinical leaders to support clinical
engagement, market development, and global knowledge sharing.
• Act as a global reference market leader by sharing Korea’s SP experience, clinical
insights, and best practices with regional and global stakeholders to support broader
market development.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in medical device product marketing, commercial
strategy, or a related commercial leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in driving product commercialization, market development, and
cross-functional initiatives within complex healthcare environments.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
across sales, clinical, service, marketing, and global teams without formal authority.
• Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies and drive
execution through collaborative leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage internal and
external stakeholders, including senior leadership and KOLs.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate market opportunities, interpret
complex data, and develop strategic recommendations.
• Self-directed, proactive professional who continuously develops expertise and seeks
opportunities to drive impact.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and work
effectively under pressure.
