Job Description 

Position Summary:  

As a Senior Product Manager and thought leader, you will provide strategic direction for the delivery of our products by defining and maximizing value for our Carrier customers. You will be responsible for managing the Carrier experience across both our web and mobile applications. This is a client-facing role that requires working with customers to understand their needs and define the right solutions. The Senior Product Manager will be called upon to deliver measurable business results that meet market needs and company goals, as part of the Product Team. 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements; define product vision, partnering with development to deliver winning products and creating actionable data and measurable results to exceed customer expectations. 
  • Build innovative products that resolve user needs and long-term relationships to enrich customer experience. 
  • Devise creative and outside-the-box product offerings with awareness of key market challenges within competitor products. 
  • Recommend and advocate new products to market by assessing existing requirements and product development programs; prepare return-on-investment analysis; establish time schedules with Development and Product Marketing. 
  • Prepare short term/long term product feature roadmaps that align with company and product strategy. 
  • Collect feedback from end users on the products for improvement and to resolve operational gaps. 
  • Analyze competitor solutions to understand similarities and variations. 
  • Write business cases and user stories, define customer ROI. 
  • Define detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases and products. 
  • Strategize initiatives with the Product Marketing team to drive rapid growth of the product. 
  • Engage with business partners to strengthen your understanding of supply chain industry processes. 
  • Work with product marketing on pricing plans for new product rollout to ensure unified approach. 
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of product releases across multiple teams. 
  • Facilitate multi-functional communication and decision-making by collaborating with other Product Managers, Data Science, User Experience, Marketing & Development teams. 
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor and provide strategic insights and drive continuous improvement. 

 

Position Requirements: 

  • Degree(s) in the field of Business, Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics and/or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years in product management in a high-growth SaaS business or transportation/logistics business. 
  • Product requirements analysis, pricing, planning, prioritization, competitive analysis, sales, financial analysis, strategy and product lifecycle management. 
  • Truckload Freight, Transportation and Logistics industry highly desirable.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000$170,000 USD

The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other related occasional work that may be assigned or is completed by the employee.
