You’ll own the end-to-end product vision for how agency owners, subaccount users, operators, and executives measure performance and prove ROI inside HighLevel—turning fragmented product data into trusted, configurable insights and scheduled reporting outputs. This is a highly strategic role with outsized impact on retention and expansion, support deflection, and enterprise readiness by making reporting accurate, self-serve, and scalable across accounts. What You’ll Own 1. Strategy & VisionOwn the north-star vision and roadmap for: - Dashboards (widget-based, role-based, configurable for agencies + subaccounts) - Reporting (scheduled, shareable, packaged outcomes from dashboards) - Enterprise Reporting (multi-entity, product-usage visibility, governance-ready) Translate company strategy into clear, measurable product outcomes (e.g., reporting adoption, time-to-insight, support ticket reduction, dashboard retention, enterprise expansion readiness). Map and deeply understand the ecosystem: agency owners, admins, subaccount users, sales/ops managers, executives, and enterprise stakeholders. 2. Dashboards – Best-in-Class Builder, Templates, and Personalization Lead Dashboards as a product with a first-class editor that enables both speed and flexibility: - Widget framework that allows agency and subaccount users to add, configure, and manage widgets - Predefined templates (role-based and use-case based) to accelerate time-to-value - Best-in-class editor capabilities (editing, organization, and usability improvements) - Saved views/presets (e.g., Exec/Manager/Rep defaults) and advanced navigation patterns - Themes and styling so agencies can align dashboards to their brand and stakeholders - Permissions and sharing controls to ensure the right users see the right data Deliver “smart dashboards” that go beyond visualization: - AI summaries that provide an executive-ready narrative (what changed, why it matters, recommended next steps) - Empty state suggestions that guide users to create useful dashboards quickly - Presentation mode for stakeholder reviews 3. Widget Ecosystem – Library, Coverage Expansion, and UX Excellence Own the growth of the widget ecosystem (breadth + quality) and the experience to manage it: - Ready-made widget library and discoverability (search, categorization, templates) - Expand widgets across product areas (as reflected in the roadmap), including examples like: Email, SMS, Reputation Management, WhatsApp,Funnels/Websites, Forms/Surveys, Courses, Communities - Accessibility and UX improvements across dashboard workflows: - Improved naming, configuration patterns, keyboard shortcuts, undo/redo - Performance and refresh behavior (e.g., auto-refresh where appropriate) - General widget management (edit/delete + advanced additions) Build guardrails and platform conventions so the widget ecosystem stays consistent, scalable, and easy to extend. 4. Reporting – Scheduled, Shareable, and Outcome-Driven Define and deliver reporting that operationalizes dashboards into distributable outputs: - Enable users to schedule dashboards/reports to be sent daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly - Build a cohesive workflow for: - Selecting recipients (internal + clients), formatting, and delivery options - Choosing templates/saved views as reporting “packs” - Ensuring the report tells a story (context, AI summary, key changes, highlights) Ensure reporting is reliable and trusted: Clear “last updated” timestamps, data freshness expectations, and consistency with dashboard views 5. Enterprise Reporting – Product Usage Visibility, Governance, and Multi-Entity Scale Lead the strategy for enterprise-grade reporting to support enterprise customers with complex structures and governance needs: - Product usage reporting across modules (adoption, engagement, utilization, outcomes) - Visibility across entities (e.g., multiple locations/subaccounts) with rollups and comparisons - Permissions and governance (role-based access, auditability, export controls as needed) - Scale and performance for large datasets and advanced filtering/segmentation Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure enterprise reporting supports executive reporting, procurement/security expectations, and enterprise success motions. 6. Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership Translate vision and PRDs (Dashboards, Widget Platform, Reporting Scheduling, Enterprise Reporting) into prioritized, outcome-driven roadmaps and shipped outcomes. Run structured discovery: customer interviews (agencies + enterprise), prototype testing, workflow audits, and competitive analysis (dashboard/reporting patterns from modern SaaS and BI-lite products). Collaborate closely with: - Engineering to plan, scope, and deliver platform-quality releases - Design to build intuitive, scalable UX for dashboard creation and reporting workflows - Data/Analytics to instrument metrics, ensure data correctness, and build internal measurement dashboards - Sales/CS/Support to shape enablement, packaging, and feedback loops Drive alignment and narrative: clearly communicate tradeoffs, decisions, and progress to stakeholders and leadership. What You’ll Bring - 6+ years in Product Management - Experience in one or more of: - Dashboards, reporting products, analytics, BI-lite experiences - Platform/product surfaces with extensible components (widget systems, templates, permissions) - Enterprise SaaS capabilities (governance, RBAC, multi-entity reporting, scale/performance) - Strong analytical and technical fluency: - Comfortable partnering with Engineering/Data on data flows, instrumentation, system design, and reliability - Can define robust metrics and measurement plans - Can reason about APIs, permissions, and scalable configuration frameworks - Proven track record of moving business metrics (retention, expansion, adoption, support deflection, engagement) - Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, influence cross-functional partners, and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Data, and GTM - Excellent written and verbal communication; can create crisp narratives for executives and individual contributors How Success Will Be Measured (First 12 Months) - A clear, aligned 12–18 month roadmap for Dashboards, Reporting, and Enterprise Reporting is defined and in execution - Meaningful improvements in: - Dashboard adoption and retention (active dashboard builders, repeat usage, widget utilization) - Time-to-value (time to first useful dashboard/report; usage of templates and saved views) - Reporting reliability and adoption (scheduled report usage, delivery success rate, stakeholder engagement) - Trust and quality (reduction in reporting-related support tickets; improved confidence in metrics) - Enterprise readiness (multi-entity rollups, permissions, product usage visibility, performance at scale) - Strong internal adoption and understanding of these capabilities by Sales, CS, and Support (enablement, demos, consistent positioning) - You are seen as the single-threaded owner and strategic leader for reporting across the platform
