About the Role
The Mobile Payments Product team at HighLevel is focused on building and scaling a robust, reliable, and seamless payment experience across our mobile ecosystem. The platform supports a growing volume of mobile-first transactions and is a critical driver of revenue for our customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at scale while solving complex fintech and B2B2C payment workflows within a mobile-first SaaS environment.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Mobile Payments, who will take ownership of the end-to-end mobile payments lifecycle, spanning pre-sales, sales, and post-sales experiences. This role will be responsible for managing a complete suite of mobile payment products, including invoices, estimates, and point-of-sale (POS), while ensuring a seamless and secure experience for end users.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives focused on reliability, scale, compliance, and usability, while building a platform-agnostic mobile payments system that supports multiple use cases and customer segments. This role requires strong execution, a deep understanding of mobile payment flows, and the ability to balance customer needs with business and regulatory requirements.
Your mission: To build a best-in-class, mobile-first payments platform that drives adoption, transaction success, and revenue growth by delivering fast, secure, and intuitive payment experiences across HighLevel’s global customer base.
What You’ll Do
Own the Mobile Payments Product Vision & Strategy – Define and execute the roadmap for HighLevel’s mobile payments platform, covering invoices, estimates, and point-of-sale (POS), with a strong focus on adoption, reliability, and revenue growth across a B2B2C environment.
Drive Payment Adoption & Monetization – Increase usage, transaction success, and GMV by improving payment discovery, checkout flows, and post-sale experiences across mobile.
Deliver Core Mobile Payment Capabilities – Lead the end-to-end development of mobile payment features, including invoicing, estimates, POS, refunds, and post-sale workflows at scale.
Hardware & In-Person Payments Integration – Own the integration of hardware payment solutions (readers, terminals) to enable seamless in-person payments and post-sale journeys within the mobile app.
Platform-Agnostic Payment Architecture – Evaluate, select, and integrate relevant PSP SDKs to support native mobile payment capabilities while maintaining flexibility across providers.
Champion Mobile UI/UX for Payments – Partner closely with design and engineering to deliver fast, intuitive, and frictionless payment experiences optimized for mobile-first users.
Experiment & Optimize – Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve checkout conversion, authorization success, and overall payment performance across mobile flows.
Scale, Reliability & Compliance – Ensure the payments platform is secure, scalable, and compliant, with strong ownership of PCI, regulatory, and risk considerations.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with engineering, design, data, sales, support, and finance teams to deliver cohesive pre-sale, sale, and post-sale payment experiences.
Leverage Payments Data for Decisions – Use payments-specific metrics such as TPV, authorization rates, conversion drop-offs, failure reasons, and refunds to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions.
Own Outcomes, Not Just Features – Deliver measurable improvements in payment adoption, transaction success rates, revenue expansion, and overall mobile payments performance.
Who You Are
Payments Platform & B2B2C Experience – You have built and shipped impactful features within a payments or fintech ecosystem, delivering secure, scalable payment experiences that drive adoption, transaction success, and long-term usage at scale.
UX-Driven for Payments – You bring a strong UI/UX sensibility for payment flows, checkout experiences, and post-transaction journeys, with a track record of reducing friction and improving conversion through intuitive design.
Experimentation-Led – You are comfortable designing and running A/B tests and structured experiments to improve authorization rates, checkout completion, and overall payment performance through rapid iteration.
Customer-Centric Mindset – You balance business goals, risk, and user trust, keeping customer needs, confidence, and outcomes at the center of payment-related decisions.
Strategic and Execution-Focused – You can define a clear product vision for a payments platform while staying deeply involved in execution to ensure ideas translate into measurable impact.
Highly Data-Driven in Ambiguity – You are comfortable working with messy, unstructured, or incomplete data, crunching numbers, identifying patterns, and deriving actionable insights without relying on perfectly organized datasets.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong focus on payments, fintech, or transaction-heavy B2B/B2B2C platforms operating at scale, and 7+ years of total professional experience.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful product features that drive measurable improvements in payment adoption, transaction success rates, authorization rates, and revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of UI/UX principles for payment and checkout experiences, with the ability to partner closely with design teams to deliver fast, intuitive, and trust-driven user journeys.
- Experience driving revenue expansion and monetization through payments, pricing, fees, subscriptions, or transaction-based business models.
- Familiarity with SaaS and fintech growth levers, including activation, conversion optimization, retention, lifecycle management, and post-transaction experiences.
- Bonus:You have worked on a highly polished payments or fintech product processing significant transaction volume and supporting 1B + Annual TPV, and can clearly articulate your impact on growth, reliability, and customer trust.
