Sr Product Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr Product Engineer to lead our GaN based product engineering initiatives in Hukou location. The ideal candidate will not only possess expert-level skills in semiconductor product development with strategy, strong communication skill, and technical mentorship for the team.
After development, control and improve mass production quality and performance, i.e. yield, quality, cost and throughput.

Key Responsibilities ​​​​​​​

• Full PE product lifecycle ownership :  From concept to mass production, with a focus on ensuring the delivery of the highest quality products to our end customers
• Ensure all PE deliverables :  Achieved on time and in accordance with the Product Development Plan (PDP)
• Drive characterization, qualification and safe ramp plan for MP : Cooperate with Silicon Validation, Test Engineering and Quality Assurance team with high communication skill, to achieve below ownership tasks
• Characterization report generation
• Qualification report generation
• Mass production test limits and spec compliance through the limit guard banding process and outlier screening review
• Support the definition of the ATE test plan cooperating with TE
• Continuous improvement of commercial output by optimizing production yield and throughput, including excursion support for both suppliers and customers
• Support after MP :
• Continuous improvement of commercial output by optimizing production yield and throughput, including excursion support for both suppliers and customers
• SYL, SBL limit definition and lot disposition optimization to ensure quality without excessive waste
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, act as the technical focal point for cross-functional collaboration with international Designer, TE, and OSATs

1. Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field (Master’s degree strongly preferred)
2. Experience:

8-10+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor product development, with a proven track record of delivering complex mixed-signal/power management products to mass production. Need related engineering background such as Test engineering, wafer process, quality, applications or design engineering
3. Ability:

Drive cross functional teams to achieve PE milestones (including global teams)

Good critical thinking skills to systematically troubleshoot a variety of issues in combination with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Familiar with continuous improvement, yield improvement methodologies,
  statistics, common efficient data analysis techniques
• High degree of flexibility in managing periods of demanding workload is a must
• Experience with GaN (Gallium Nitride) or high-voltage high-current power device evaluation like SiC, IGBT is highly Plus
