As Sr. Senior Platform Engineer III, you'll provide platform engineering expertise for containerized environments supporting mission-critical workloads, designing and operating Kubernetes platforms while contributing immediately within a disciplined Agile delivery model.

What you’ll do:

Work as part of a collaborative and high-performing team delivering technical solutions within the highest levels of the federal government.
Design and operate Kubernetes and container platforms supporting mission-critical workloads.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
Participate in Agile execution, planning, and continuous improvement activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex environments.
Communicate platform status, risks, and technical decisions clearly to stakeholders.
Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence through technical expertise and professionalism.
Use creativity and engineering judgment to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

What you’ll need to succeed:

An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred; Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
10+ years in systems or DevOps engineering, such as at least 3 years with Kubernetes and container platforms.
Hands-on experience with AL/ML on Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, Docker, Cilium, Rook, Ceph, MinIO, S3, and PortWorx.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Required certification: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Possess a DoD 8140 DCWF Role of 451 – System Administrator with certifications such as Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.

SALARY RANGE: $184,000 - $258,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:

Performance-based bonuses
Company-paid training and/or certifications
Referral bonuses
