We need someone just as bold to join our People & Culture team. As our People & Culture Manager, you will ensure our internal operations, employee experience, and culture scale just as effectively as our product. You’ll balance operational excellence with a people-first mindset to create a workplace where everyone can thrive.
Your mission
Employee lifecycle & compliance
- Own employee administration end-to-end — contracts, amendments, parental leave, sick leave, terminations, and more.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure compliance with German labor regulations.
- Manage employee changes such as promotions, salary adjustments, and role updates.
Onboarding & offboarding
- Run onboarding processes so new hires feel set up for success from day one.
- Coordinate structured offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and equipment handling.
- Be the go-to person for new joiners and leavers.
Performance & feedback cycles
- Plan and execute quarterly performance review cycles.
- Drive peer and leadership feedback processes.
- Support managers in handling performance and development topics.
Employee experience & culture
- Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and sensitive topics.
- Run engagement formats such as coffee chats and check-ins.
- Design and analyze employee surveys to continuously improve the workplace.
- Lead culture initiatives (e.g., team challenges, anniversaries) and drive engagement projects.
Recruitment (end-to-end)
- Manage the full hiring cycle — from role definition to offer stage.
- Partner with hiring managers, screen candidates, conduct first interviews, and coordinate the process.
- Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience.
Your skillset
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 3+ years in HR, People & Culture, or HR Generalist roles, ideally in fast-paced or scale-up environments.
- HR expertise: Strong knowledge of German employment practices and hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- Ownership mindset: You take responsibility end-to-end and keep things running smoothly without constant oversight.
- People-first approach: You handle sensitive topics with empathy, professionalism, and discretion.
- Organization & structure: You manage multiple topics in parallel while staying detail-oriented and reliable.
- Communication excellence: You build trust easily and communicate confidently across teams and seniority levels.
- Hands-on mentality: You’re pragmatic, solution-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in German is a strong plus.
