What You'll Do:
Design, deploy, and support network solutions in a large-scale public cloud environment (AWS and Azure).
Utilize advanced application and network security tooling, including next-generation firewalls and IDS/IPS.
Implement enterprise-level Palo Alto Network Firewall, Fortinet, CheckPoint, AWS, and Azure Firewalls.
Demonstrate expertise in networks and protocols, such as TLS, DNS, BGP, OSPF, TCP/UDP, SMTP.
Develop roadmaps using established public cloud design standards.
Provide network support and leadership to the Engineering organization through design reviews.
Embrace a development mindset, managing network infrastructure as code and taking ownership of service delivery.
Implement and support network performance, capacity, and availability monitoring tools.
Contribute to the growth of the global network function, onboarding new network reliability engineers and providing technical leadership.
Stay up to date with the latest networking developments through peer networking and industry events.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 10+ years of professionalexperience, including experience in an enterprise SaaS organization.
Possesses expert-level knowledge in Firewall, IDS/IPS, DNS, BGP, OSPF, AWS, and Azure network constructs.
Has experience deploying physical network and security devices, as well as cloud networking solutions like web application firewalls.
Demonstrates proficiency in coding with Python, Java, Ruby, or equivalent languages.
Familiarity with deploying cloud network infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, or experience with Chef & Ansible.
Exhibits confidence in project ownership and issue resolution.
Has a passion for excellence, natural problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
Possesses a solid understanding of networking systems and protocols, particularly in a public cloud environment.
Thrives in a collaborative and supportive work environment
Experience with monitoring technologies like Prometheus, Influx, Grafana, Elasticsearch, New Relic, Dynatrace or Datadog.
Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
