Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Risk & Inventory Analytics

Lead a high-performing team to enhance supply chain risk management and inventory analytics, driving strategic initiatives to optimize deployment and mitigate risks effectively.

Primary Function of Position

Leads the development and execution of Global Supply Chain risk and inventory analytics capabilities to strengthen business resilience and optimize inventory deployment. Oversee programs that identify and mitigate supply chain risk while leveraging advanced analytics and modeling to inform strategic inventory decisions and risk protections.

Essential Job Duties

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) programs and advanced inventory analytics capabilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end SCRM program, including item-level risk assessment, supplier financial risk, supplier cybersecurity risk, supplier network event monitoring, and supply chain intelligence
  • Drive the development of advanced analytics, modeling, and reporting to improve visibility into supply chain risk exposures and enable data-driven inventory and risk mitigation decisions
  • Lead strategic initiatives to optimize inventory deployment, including analytics and governance supporting strategic inventory reserves for high-risk and long-lead supply chain components
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Engineering, Logistics, and Operations leaders to translate risk insights and analytical findings into actionable strategies and operational decisions
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication of complex analytical insights, enabling informed decision-making related to supply continuity, risk mitigation, and capital investment
  • Establish and enhance governance, processes, and reporting frameworks that support proactive risk monitoring, inventory strategy, and supply chain resilience across the enterprise
  • Continuously evaluate and improve tools, data sources, and analytical methodologies used to monitor supply chain risks and inform strategic planning

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, risk management, strategy, or advanced analytics roles, with demonstrated impact in complex, cross-functional environments
  • Experience leading or developing teams and programs, with the ability to manage priorities, develop talent, and drive execution through others
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including experience developing models, interpreting complex datasets, and translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Experience influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders and communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives that require cross-functional coordination across supply chain, operations, engineering, finance, or related functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments and drive structured decision-making under uncertainty

Required Education and Training 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative or technical field

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or financial modeling, with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs between supply chain risk mitigation, inventory investment, and capital deployment
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including experience with data modeling, scenario analysis, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar analytics platforms)
  • Experience developing inventory strategy, inventory optimization models, or governance frameworks supporting strategic inventory reserves and supply continuity
  • Experience supporting global supply chains, including supplier networks, manufacturing operations, and multi-region sourcing environments

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.
